What an invoice must include
Your business name, address and contact details; a unique invoice number; the invoice date and due date; the client's name and address; each item with its quantity, price and amount; the subtotal, tax (VAT or GST and its rate) and total; and how to pay. Many countries also ask for your tax or VAT registration number, which has its own field.
Invoice numbers
Use a sequence that never repeats, such as INV-0001, INV-0002, or one with the year, INV-2026-001. Change the number on each invoice; the rest of your details stay.
A simple invoice template in your currency
Choose from 28 currencies, from dollars, euros and pounds to shillings, naira, rand and rupees, and the way dates are written. Amounts are worked out in cents, so the total matches the lines exactly.

Is the invoice generator free?
Yes, converting is free: the conversion and checking the result cost nothing, and the work runs in your browser, so nothing is uploaded. The side-by-side preview on the converter pages comes with a free account. Saving the finished file is paid: $3.49 for one file ($3.99 for a technical file such as DXF, G-code, STL or embroidery) with no account needed, or included in a plan from $6.99 a month. Downloads follow the site plan, like every other download here.
Can I send the invoice by email?
Download the PDF, or the smaller PDF for email, and attach it. A PNG or JPG is there for WhatsApp.
Can I add a discount or shipping?
Yes: a discount as an amount or a percentage, shipping, and an amount already paid, which shows the balance due.
Can I add my logo?
Yes. Upload a PNG, JPG, WebP or SVG. Take its white background out in one click if it has one; without a logo, your initials go in a circle.
Which currencies are there?
US dollar, euro, pound, Kenyan shilling, naira, rand, cedi, Ugandan and Tanzanian shilling, rupee, UAE dirham, Saudi riyal, Canadian, Australian and New Zealand dollar, yen, yuan, franc, real, peso, Philippine peso, Pakistani rupee, taka, Egyptian pound, Moroccan dirham, CFA franc, Rwandan franc and birr.
