Why it matters
Totals you can trust

Questions
Can I add formulas?
Yes: the figures are plain numbers, so type =SUM() or any formula in a free cell.
Which versions of Excel open it?
Excel 2007 and later on Windows and Mac, Excel on the web and the Excel app, as well as Google Sheets, Numbers and LibreOffice.
Does the sheet keep the numbers as numbers?
Yes. Quantities, prices and amounts are numbers, so Excel can add, sort and chart them.
