Why not one file for both?
A spreadsheet is best for figures and a PDF for the client. Both come from the same invoice here.
Does the sheet keep the numbers as numbers?
Yes. Quantities, prices and amounts are stored as numbers, so Google Sheets can add, sort and chart them.
Does the spreadsheet have the design?
The spreadsheet holds the figures. For the designed invoice to send, download the PDF as well.
