Your name and job title at the top, contacts, a two or three line profile, then work experience (newest first) with results, education, and skills. One page for most people, two after ten or more years. Use one or two colours and keep the text at least 9 pt.

Can I download my CV for free?
Designing and previewing are free. Downloads follow the site plan, like every other file here; a single CV can be bought on its own.
What is the difference between a CV and a resume?
In the UK, Europe, Africa and much of Asia, a CV is the one or two pages you send with a job application. In the US and Canada that is called a resume, and a CV means a longer academic record. This maker makes both: pick the length and sections you need.
Should I put a photo on my CV?
It depends on the country: photos are common in much of Europe, Africa, Asia and the Middle East, and usually left off in the US, UK, Canada and Australia. Every design here works with or without one.
Will an applicant tracking system read it?
The simple ATS design is one column with standard headings, and its Word file has no tables or pictures. Every PDF here keeps its text as text. For the safest result, upload the Word file of the simple design.
