Teacher Portfolio Template

A teaching portfolio for interviews and reviews: about you, your teaching, projects with pupils and photos of displays and trips. Download a PDF or a Word file to keep editing.

The portfolio maker is loading.

How it works

  1. Pick a design

Eight to start from: minimal cream, bold yellow, dark green and gold, navy and green, charcoal and orange, architecture blue, blush and editorial black and white.

  2. Add your work

Each page has its kind: a cover, about me, contents, a project or a gallery. Add pictures to a page and they are laid out for you; write a title and a few lines about each project.

  3. Download it

A PDF to send or upload, a Word file to keep editing (Google Docs opens it too), or a PowerPoint with a slide per page to present.

Why it matters

Every page laid out

Pictures are cropped to fill their spaces in a grid or with one large; text is set in the design's fonts. No dragging boxes into line.

Change the design any time

Your pages, words and pictures stay when you switch the design, colours or page shape.

Made on your device

Your pictures are not uploaded: the portfolio is put together in this browser.

Questions

What goes in a teaching portfolio?

Your teaching approach, lesson plans you are proud of, pupils' work and results, projects you have led, training and feedback from observations.

How many pages can a portfolio have?

As many as you need: add pages of any kind after the one you are on, copy a page or delete it. Most portfolios are 8 to 20 pages.

What size should a portfolio be?

A4 or US Letter, in landscape for screens and wide pictures or portrait for printing. Pick both at the top of the maker; every page lays itself out again.

Can I move things around on a page?

Yes: "Edit every part" turns the page into pieces to move, resize, recolour or delete, with the same tools as the other makers (align, group, lock, turn).

Are my pictures kept?

In this browser, while there is room. Large sets of pictures can fill the browser's storage; the page tells you if so, and you can download before you leave.
