What does a UPI QR code cost here?
Designing it and checking it scans cost nothing. Downloading the finished code is a one-off purchase, or comes with a plan. There is no fee per payment you receive and no commission: money goes straight to your account.
Which apps can scan it?
Any UPI app: Google Pay, PhonePe, Paytm, BHIM, Amazon Pay and the bank apps. They read the upi://pay link and open the payment with your UPI ID filled in.
Can I set a fixed amount?
Yes. Type an amount and the payer sees it filled in; leave it empty for a code the customer can use for any amount, as at a shop counter.
Is it safe to share my UPI QR code?
A UPI QR code only lets people pay you. It cannot take money from your account. Never scan someone else's code to receive money: scanning always means paying.
