Every file is traced on its own at its own resolution, with the settings in the panel. A file converted here comes out identical to the same file converted by itself.

Image quality
PNG is always lossless and full resolution.
See it on your product
Put this artwork on a 3D mug, tumbler, sign, phone case or canvas, turn it all the way round, or drop it onto a photograph of your own blank. The preview page has the product picker, the colours and the placement controls.

Read in the browser. Nothing is uploaded.
Check units and extents
The checker reports what the file declares before you rely on it.
Export
Units are written into the output so the next program does not have to guess.
DWG to JPG online, high resolution
DWG to JPG online: the AutoCAD drawing is read here and drawn at the size you ask for, so DWG to JPG high resolution online means a 4000-pixel image with thin, clean lines, and DWG to JPG high quality means no blurry screenshot of a viewer.
The same file gives DWG to PNG with a transparent background, and to convert file DWG to PDF at scale use DWG to PDF. Already have a PDF? PDF to JPG.
DWG to JPG with iLovePDF?
A DWG to JPG converter iLovePDF search usually ends in disappointment: iLovePDF handles PDFs, not AutoCAD files. This page reads the DWG itself.
Why it matters
Units survive the trip
The most common way a CAD interchange goes wrong is a file arriving with no declared units. Our DXF output always states them.
Extents reported, not assumed
The real drawing bounds are read from the geometry rather than trusted from a header that may be stale.
Entity types flagged
SPLINE, ELLIPSE, HATCH and TEXT are the entities that most often fail on import. They are reported before you find out at the machine.
Nothing uploaded
Client drawings stay on your machine, which matters when the work is under NDA.
Questions
Can you read DWG?
Yes, in your browser: AutoCAD R13 to 2018 files, with the exception of the 2007 format, which is refused with a message rather than misread. Lines, arcs, circles, polylines, splines, ellipses, blocks and layers are read; text and hatch fills are counted and reported but not drawn. DWG can be written too, as AutoCAD 2000, which every current CAD program opens.
What DXF version do you write?
R2000 by default, which current CAD and CAM packages read. R12 is available for older controllers.
Will my layers survive?
Layer names and colours are kept, and layers that were off or frozen stay that way. Blocks are exploded into their shapes; attributes and paper-space layouts are not carried across.
