Free SVG Editor Online
Edit an SVG in your browser, free and with no account: move and recolour the shapes, drag the points, then save SVG or send it straight to DXF, DWG, PDF, EPS or G-code.
What this editor is for
Lossless by default
Vector optimisation only rounds coordinates and strips editor metadata. The geometry is unchanged unless you lower the precision yourself.
Real reductions
Redundant closing segments, editor namespaces, comments and over-precise coordinates typically account for a third to a half of an exported SVG.
Transparency handled properly
JPEG has no alpha channel. We fill white behind transparent areas rather than letting them encode as black.
See what changed
Before and after byte counts, and the optimised file rendered, so nothing is thrown away silently.

Questions
Will optimising break my SVG?
Editor-specific attributes are removed, so the file may no longer round-trip perfectly into Inkscape or Illustrator with their own state intact. The rendered result is identical.
How much smaller?
Typically 30 to 50 percent for an exported SVG, more if it came out of a design tool with metadata attached.
Does it change my colours?
No. Colour values are left exactly as they are.
