Questions
Is it really free?
Conversion itself runs in your browser, so it costs us nothing per file and there is no limit on how many you do, with no account. Nothing you download carries a watermark.
Is my file uploaded?
No. The conversion happens in the page. Nothing is sent to a server, which also means artwork under NDA can go through it without a conversation about data handling.
What file types can I convert?
In: PNG, JPG, WebP, GIF, BMP, SVG and EPS. Out: SVG, DXF, G-code, EPS, PDF, STL, PNG and JPG. See all converters for the specific routes.
Will the quality drop?
No. Tracing works at the source resolution, raster downloads come back at the original size, and PNG is pixel-identical on a round trip. If an image is large enough to hit the performance ceiling the page tells you rather than quietly shrinking it.
Can I use the output commercially?
Yes. It is your artwork. We make no claim on anything you convert.
Why does my DXF open at the wrong size?
Almost always a missing unit declaration in the original file. Run it through the DXF unit and size checker, which reports exactly that.
Why will my design not weed cleanly?
Usually features too thin to survive peeling. The cut-ready checker measures the thinnest part of a design and tells you what scale would clear the limit.
Can I convert a photograph?
You can, and it is worth knowing what you get. Thousands of tonal transitions become flat vector shapes, which reads as a posterised rendering rather than a faithful copy. For photo engraving on a laser, use G-code raster mode instead, which keeps the tone.
Do you make embroidery files?
Yes. Image to DST, PES and JEF digitize a picture into fills, satin outlines and running stitches sized for your hoop, in your browser, free. The embroidery viewer opens PES, DST and JEF files and converts between them.
What do the paid plans cover?
The parts that genuinely need a server: AI generation, batch and API work, and account features. Everything that runs locally stays free, embroidery digitizing included.
