What it is
A file converter that runs entirely in the browser, aimed at people whose output goes on a machine: laser cutters, CNC routers, vinyl cutters, embroidery machines and 3D printers. Raster images become vector paths; those become SVG, EPS, PDF, DXF, G-code or STL.
What is unusual about it
No upload. Conversion runs in the visitor's own browser, so files never reach a server. That makes it usable on work under NDA, keeps conversion free, and means it keeps working offline once loaded.
The part that took the work
Correctness for machines rather than for screens. Declared units, so a part does not come out 25.4 times too big. Cut ordering that takes holes before the boundary that holds them. Kerf compensation. And a rule that machine formats are never watermarked, because a mark in a cut file is extra cut paths that a machine would run.
